2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Maintaining the Register

Tietorahti Oy maintains the content of the Maps4Cargo application. The technical implementation of the application is the responsibility of Tietorahti Oy. The Maps4Cargo application DOES NOT collect or share information about user types. Searches made by users using the application’s search function are not stored or tracked in any way.

3. Location Data

The app uses your location to show you the nearest services on the map. For example, we display the location of the closest gas station. You can also add your own markers, such as rest stops, to the map if you wish. Location data you submit will be reviewed and then added to the map. We do not track drivers’ locations, even when navigation is active.

4. Personal Data Stored in the Register

Personal data is NOT automatically stored in the register. In cases where a user uses the feedback feature of the Kylmäkuljetus application, the sender’s email and any contact information they add to the message are temporarily stored. Contact information is kept only until the feedback has been responded to, after which it is deleted from all data sources.
